I'm proud to say that I've been 85 days without soda!
Today is the first day of summer vacation for my daughter, and I feel like it's a good time to set some more goals for myself. I have 74 days til I get married, and I can make a lot of healthy choices in that amount of time so that's what I'm going to do.
1. Cook at home as much as possible, which means I need to be smarter in my meal planning than I have been. In fact, I'd like to use the oven as little as possible this summer. Tomorrow, I'm making up a huge batch of gazpacho and a big bowl of pasta salad to eat off of this weekend.
2. Drink more water! I was doing SO well with this, drinking a gallon of water a day, and the I stopped. No good. I need to start keeping a big pitcher of water in the fridge so it's always nice and cold for us.
3. Pack lunches at work. I started to do this last week, and it went pretty well, gotta keep it up!
Overall, I'd like to loose at least 13 pounds between now and the wedding, but if that doesn't happen it's not the end of the world. I think that making better choices overall will help eventually.
