I have been struggling to incorporate running into my workout plan. Over the winter, I subsituted running with yoga. I reallly like my yoga classes and I feel so much better after doing them. I need as much help as I can get with stretching and flexibility. I am having a problem with not enough hours in the day and my body rebels if I don't vary my workout from day to day. For example, I cannot do ST or running 2 days in a row, bad things happen. I have decided to try runnning in the morning. While, I am a morning person, I never wanted to work out first thing. I set my alarm for 5:30, got dressed, did a good warm up and jogged 2 miles. I was back in my house at 6:15, which is the time I used to get up, so I still had plenty of time for my usual morning routine. My goal is to make this a regular part of my routine.
