I had my operation on Monday, all went well, spent the night in hospital. Lots of bleeding but as the doctor said this does help keep the bruising down. Travelled home yesterday but am very tired. I think it is all the emotion of what is going on.

Arm is very sore, it is worse than when I had the fistula done last year. Heaps of bruising already. Can't exercise for at least a fortnight.

For the update.

I have the MRI done on the 20th August
Have an appointment with the Nephrologist on the 28th August
Then an appointment with the surgeon on the 10th September. This is the surgeon who did the partial Nephrectomy last time.

But at least I have 2 months of freedom of not travelling to Adelaide for doctors appointments.

Glad it went well! Take it easy, drink lots of fluid (and I think extra vitamin C helps with bruising, or helps flush out the bruise), and get lots of rest!

So glad the op went well ..
Hope the pain is receding.
I am so glad you have all the dates now, and I know you will enjoy the next few months of freedom ..
Now you can relax and enjoy your Grandbabies arrival and also spend time with your family.
Try to eat well, this will enable you to lose more weight and prepare you for surgery ...
Much Love as always .. Susie. emoticon emoticon emoticon
