Today is my first doctor's visit since I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes

Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Today is my first doctor's visit since I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. I printed up the nutrition reports for the dietitian to look at. I doubt she will, but at least she will get the point that I am taking this seriously...wait. Why do I care whether or not she thinks that? Hmmm... appointment is at 9am.

Oh, and I weigh in. (Grrrrrr...).

Check out my blog "results" You should have a read out on your blood test. To see where you began, and what your results may be when you have your next appt. Good luck on your weigh in. MJ

I should add, I did it all with diet and exercise. Because of your injurys, it may be hard for you on the exercise part of it. But the diet will help get the weight off, and you never know with those results where it may place you someday.
Actually I don't call it diet, it's my journey, my plan. I follow no particular diet, I just eat the right foods.

Good for you! I always feel one up when I have something positive to research- and you picked a great one-Nutrition reports.
I've always been told that there is no diabetic diet, but there is! SparkPeople has a great Diabetes Conditions Center with so much information.
Also, today's Spark Radio has an Interview with Beth Donovan ~Indygirl
When I 1st started SparkPeople she was my Inspiration!

emoticon I control my Type 2 diabetes completely with diet. I no longer take any medication for it at all. Education is so important. It doesn't matter what she thinks. Educate yourself so you can regain some more control over your life!
