Good friends - have a wonderful, wacky, weird, wild Wednesday
Wednesday, June 19, 2013
Just wanted to catch the night owls and early risers to wish you a Wednesday full of joy, happiness, love, and peace, but especially filled with FUN and wacky, weird, wild and wonderful experiences.
I fell asleep early but woke up because my blood sugar had dropped pretty low - I had to have a night snack tonight. My eating today was really healthy and I am starting to think I am almost to the point of lowering my insulin again. Have just started having low readings but they have been on the low end of normal for a while now - will know in a couple of days if I have any more lows. It wasn't DANGEROUSLY LOW - just too low to ignore at bedtime (68). This is actually a good sign as I want to eventually get off it altogether.
I am getting ready to head back to bed. I watched The Voice tonight and regardless of which of the final contestants had won, I would have been happy. I liked the Swon Brothers best, Ed liked Michelle Shamuel best, and I expected that Danielle Bradbury would win - she was incredible.
I am happy the temperatures have dropped low enough to make sleep a little more comfortable tonight. I am in waiting mode and am understanding Ed's sense of cabin fever that he experiences when I am out and about all day every day and he is at home most of the time. While the problem with the car isn't a BIG one, when the bank account is down to $1.35 ANY expense is MORE than I can afford right now. All will be well eventually - patience is a virtue - I will be very grateful if the weather cooperates and stays comfortable AT NIGHT at least.
I have been thinking about a lot of things the past couple of days - most of them are not really profound but are related to decisions I must make about a whole stack of things. I am struggling a bit to stay positive and not allow doubt and discouragement to creep in and disrupt my progress.
Everyone sleep well, let the arms of the angels hold you close and whisper soft promises of the morrow into your ears. May the angels standing guard over your sleep ensure that you awake refreshed and rested and ready to face a wonderful Wednesday with all its wackiness, weirdness, and wonderful wildness. Sleep well - g'night
