I had a fantastic week working and spectating at the US Open - If you read about it or watched it - it was truly everything they said. I am just so jammed for time this and last week that I haven't been able to write about the experience.
A few tidbits:
Thurs morning - assisted with an OB ball of Sergio's on the 14th that knocked a spectator's hat off
Husband lost his keys on Friday - and when we arrived on Saturday and took a chance at Lost & found ..... yes! Someone had turned them in. As many may know, the new fangled car keys can cost $250 to replace and he had 2 on his key chain.
Charlie Hoffman hit his ball into a tree on our Marshalls' hole # 16 and it didn't come down!
Hole in one on 17th early on Sunday and the "sign boy" was our neighbor -
so FUN - and very exhausting.
The fans overall were so polite and I do not think I have ever been at a better "dressed" sporting event in my life!
Pictures and details soon.
