Hello Sparkie Fridays! Hope everyone is doing well today!!! My cubs are just about done school! Wednesday is the oldest's last day and Thursday is the youngest's last day! They are very excited to start they're summer... gonna be a busy one, hee hee.
Okay, back to the Photo Blogs
June 13th's word was: Sand...
I have lots of beach / sand pictures. But I remember my cubs doing this a few years back. It was late August and we went to the beach. My cubs had already gone back into school, so this was a day to have fun and get away.
They cubs made some games... like pinball, in a way hee hee, in the sand. They use tennis balls we had to play. It was cute. The first picture is the game made by my oldest cub and the second is PapaBear playing the youngest's game.
June 14th's Photo Words: Stars & Stripes...
Oh boy, one of my favorite things!!! I love Patriotic stuff!!! I know I have posted the flag I made out of extra fences we had. I have it in my front yard leaning against my house. I made smaller one that I hung in my garden too. Let's see if I can find something different.
I made these for my oldest cub's 8th grade graduation party (5/2012). I died white rice red, white and blue. :-)
Also made these for this graduation party too. Layered color jello!
This is last year's garden. I have a flag on the fence and this is our Corn on the Cob starting to grow!
June 15th's Photo words: From The Side...
This is a picture of PapaBear when we went to the river to eat our ice cream... cub-less!!! Woohoo!! It was a fun day. I got this picture of him watching the river, from the side (wink).
June 16th's Photo Words: Something Masculine...
Well this must be for Father's Day!!! Happy Father's Day for all the Daddys out there!!! Hope they all had a wonderful day! PapaBear did, so that's great!
Thinking "Masculine" I think of vehicles! I do live with two cubs and a Papabear, so vehicles and stuff to do with them are really big here! (wink)
This is a picture of PapaBear's bike. I think he was very surprised when I said I was okay if he got one. A friend at work was selling this one and he got it and fixed it up (to look like this). He enjoys riding it and I know it means a lot to him. (hugs PapaBear).
This was a car show in 2011 at our favorite diner! This is hubby with the cubs... they seem so young here, hee hee.
Each cub picked a car they liked best and stood near it for a picture. This is my oldest cub's choice.
This is my youngest cub's choice. I think he liked the "yellow". Good choice, yellow is awesome!!
This is a real Steam Shovel. We were driving up north and was at a stop light and saw this. My husband was all excited because it reminded him of his favorite book as a child... "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel" By Virginia Burton.
Well I know I'm not caught up yet, but it's closer. Thanks again for stopping in and reading my blog. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
