Today, I ate lunch with food from home. Again, as planned. This is becoming a habit. I rather like it. I think this new habit may just pay for my new car. And that is something to smile about!!
Anyway, today I had baked beans, plain hot dog, and macaroni salad. The hot dog is kosher, the baked beans were from a can, and the macaroni salad was put together by me.
Tasty stuff. Anyway, I am really glad that I decided to make this my new goal - to eat foods cooked/prepared from home for breakfast and lunch every day. Of course, this means, in reality, that I must prepare/cook dinner at home as well, in order to have left overs for lunches.
Last night I did not provide any left overs for today's lunch. I had no zest or enthusiasm to cook last night, so I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner. HA! Nonetheless, I had some leftovers from Sunday's BBQ.
Now, to get those calcium numbers up. Sodium and fat are way down (!), calories are within range, and protein is a bit low.
