LUNCH WITH FRIEND

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

Well, I got up early as I was planning to have lunch with a friend. We have worked together for the past 8 to 9 years and she lost her Husband in January of this year. She is a person that would stay in her house all the time if allowed too. I have been after her to go to lunch with me. She agreed and I took her to a wonderful little place in the next town that has home cooking. After that we went to Tuesday Mornings to see what they had and I did not find too much at this store now. We went to TJ Maxx and to Kohls. I asked her if she wanted to stop by our office and see my manager. She was excited about that. We sat there and talked for a long time and discussed things that will be coming up this next work season. I think she enjoyed herself and she told me she wants to do it again soon and go by and take a lunch and eat it with my Manager. I told her great that would be a good idea.

She needs to get out of her house more than she is doing and I know she is always making excuses when you talk with her about doing something.

I hope she enjoyed the day as much as I did and will really want to go out again in the next two to three weeks. I am a goer and I have another friend that is like her and just wants to stay home all the time. She is also a widow and I feel that she needs to be out more. We are planning on having lunch at the local barbeque next week.
