Okay, Okay, so I cheated (not with food)...

I couldn't resist.

As you may remember, last week I hid the bathroom scale in the linen closet. I weighed myself this past Sunday and had only lost 3 pounds (I am still happy about that though).

When I got on the scale today.. it read another 4-5 pounds off. I weighed myself 4 times and I was wet from a shower.

SOOOOO - I promise I will stay off it until my regular weigh-in day - which is Sunday.

NOW - if I weigh more than I did last Sunday - I will go see a doctor! LOL Or buy another scale!

Thanks all and have a blessed day! emoticon

Do yourself a favor. Get rid of the scale! It's the bane of all our dieting existence. I have seen too many crash and burn, including myself when constantly reminding ourselves of the battle we are in. I quit weighing all the time when I first started with Sparkpeople and I made it the first of the month to weigh in. I always lost, whether it be 4lbs or10lbs I was happy just to see the weight come off each month. I stayed true to my journey, ate clean foods, not all at that time, this is before I learned about Frankenfood! And the weight came off.
This time, I weigh only when I see my Dr. It will be 3 mos. tomorrow. Stay tuned for results on a blog I will be doing tomorrow.
One thing I changed this time is I am doing exercise. If you don't see lbs falling away, you definitely will see it in sizes. I was wearing a size 16/18 I am now in a size 12! I don't even care what the scale says tomorrow, I am so happy to be smaller.
Anyway I like numerous others bowed down to the scales results, which always when ever I didn't lose, or gained a lb. (I always knew why, couldn't blame it on water gain) I did a binge attack. And you know what happens then.
So two things I don't do today, rely on a scale, and have splurge days. Neither doesn't work for me. emoticon
