Yawn!

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

I think I need a day off to sleep. My body and I had a hostile argument over going to the gym this am. I won, though! I did my time on elliptical today. Tomorrow, Molly and I are going to take the SPIN class again. I had better find my gel seat when I get home today! And my water bottle. And a towel.

Today will be crazy with me working on Fire board stuff as well as my Men's Health program, so I won't stay on for long, but want to leave you with a health quote.

Leave all the afternoon for exercise and recreation, which are as necessary as reading. I will rather say more necessary because health is worth more than learning.
Thomas Jefferson

Interesting quote. I really had to stop and ponder that one. Is health really more important than learning? In the old days I think that just came naturally because people didn't have any other choice. The natural healthy foods were they only ones they had so that's what they ate. But our generation I think actually has to learn or re-learn how to be healthy. Its quite a conundrum! emoticon

    I like the quote emoticon
It's always nice when you can win an argument with yourself, especially when you know you are right emoticon

WOW! Thomas Jefferson was ahead of his time in many ways - including his awareness that exercise is vital!
