Day #60 (Saturday, 6/15/13) was great... It was a rest day. If I had to pick a song to describe it, it would be "Nothin' But A Good Time" by Poison. Here are some of the lyrics:
"I'm always workin' slavin' every day
Gotta get away from that same old same old
I need a chance just to get away
If you could hear me think this is what I'd say"
"Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this"
So as I mentioned in my last blog, my wife is in Chicago for a business trip. With that being the case, I decided to go out and have a good time. Me and Jason (he's like a little brother to me) decided to head to Ocean City (Maryland's most popular beach).
So as you can see from the picture above, we went jetskiing. Definitely one of my favorite activities. I generally try to go once or twice each summer. We had a blast. It was especially cool, cause it was his first time doing it. I've been jetskiing quite a bit, I think my first time going was 11 or 12 years ago. While most of my jetskiing adventures have been in Ocean City, I have also jetskied in Honolulu and the Bahamas. Here are some other pictures of Jason on the jetski (I obviously couldn't take pictures of myself) and the picture at the bottom is me returning from a jetski excursion in the Bahamas in 2010).
So after we finished jetskiing, we had lunch and headed back to our part of Maryland. It was a ton of driving (Ocean City is 3 hours away from where I live), but we had a blast. My parents, my wife and I will be spending our 4th of July holiday in Ocean City, so I'm definitely looking forward to that.
After getting back from the beach, I did some cleaning around the house and then invited one of my friends from church over to play video games (he beat me in Madden 2013 on his PS3 and then on my Xbox 360, how embarrassing) and then we went out to get some dinner.
So it was a fun day and I had "Nothing But A Good Time"
