I've done very well the last few days with my sugar intake. Sunday, I had a vanilla fudge drumstick and yesterday I had a mini chocolate cake from Carino's. Both of those were small and few in calories (in my opinion) and satisfied my sugar cravings for the day. Both days, I had my fat free creamer in my coffee.
I've discovered that if I keep myself busy and occupied, I don't have as many sugar cravings. I get most of my cravings when I'm bored. I've also added more fresh fruit to my diet and I think that's helping with the cravings.
Overall, the past few days I have been doing well. I'm just waiting to see how I do on that one day when it just seems like all I want all day is something sweet. I'm a little nervous about that day coming but I need to not focus on it. If I do think about it too much, I may not make it through the day! I definitely don't want that!
