...yeah we go way back. Let me explain:
Years ago, when Jane Fonda came out with one of her first exercise tape...I bought it, new workout clothes, shoes, the whole package. I was going to exercise with Jane Fonda!
So okay, pop in the tape, and for about 3 minutes into it, I plopped down on the couch, panting and sweating like a hog...still watching Jane. 3 minutes later...she claps her hands and says..."Okay...now that we're warmed up, let's exercise!"
That was it for me, I never played the tape or wore the workout clothes again. I was mortified, humiliated and crushed...I mean, I couldn't even get through the warm-up moves?? And to top it off, I weighed a mere 118 pounds at that time!!
I bring the above up because today I saw the video 10-Minute Cardio Kickboxing Workout with Coach Nicole. Okay...after reading the comments and sitting through the 10 minutes to see what the workout entailed...I jumped in to give it a shot.
I lasted all of 2 minutes into it...but...no excuse, but I'm 70 pounds overweight, old and definitely wayyyy out of shape. It reminded me back when I wanted to work-out with Jane Fonda.
Difference here is, tomorrow I'm giong to do this workout again...go for 3 minutes and so on each day until I reach the 10 minutes (or die trying) and hope to continue doing it every day as a ritual. I WILL DO IT!
