Intermittent Fasting Week 14

Good morning!!

As Week 13 was fastless I thought Iíd update you on what Iíve been up to for the last couple of weeks!

As expected, Week 13 was rather busy with not 1 but 2 rather significant hangovers!! This reflected in my weigh in at the end of Week 14 which Iíll get to shortly.

Week 13 wasnít all bad though. I ran twice and managed a 5 mile walk whilst hungover. I was rather impressed.

Week 14 I had my 2 fast days, 1 trip to the gym and 3 runs. I ran a total of 11.2 miles and set myself a new 5k PB of 26:36 which was good especially as I didnít particularly push myself very hard. Iím currently on target to run the most miles Iíve ever run in a single month and Iím confident that Iíll get a new 10k PB when I run next month!

My weigh in was a little disappointing on Friday morning. It was 203.8lbs which was 1 lbs up from the previous weigh in 2 weeks before. I know that I should have done better but with a whole week off fasting and a night on the pizza on Wednesday last week I know that it was entirely my own fault.

The next couple of weeks will probably not include a fast either as next Monday is my birthday (yay!!) and as of Wednesday this week Iím on holiday for a week and a half. Excuses excuses I know. Iím going to be kept quite busy so Iím pretty sure that I wonít gain too much, maybe a couple of pounds. Iím going to continue to run so that I donít slip back in my development and my other half, Lucy, is also training so we can keep each other company.

    I agree with STONECOT. Enjoy. In fact it was you that I first ''heard'' say...it's a lifestyle not a diet!

    The whole point of the 5:2 is that it fits in with your lifestyle, thus removing the guilt and panic that accompanies so many 'diets'. Enjoy your birthday. It's pointless being alive if you're not enjoying it, so maintain for a couple of weeks, and we'll hear from you when you return refreshed.
