FitBit Device Sync Working. Web Site & Dashboard Not!

12:30 AM

* Bought it at BestBuy.
* Wouldn't sync, nor could I log into web site until past 11:30 PM EDT.
* Called the support line twice:
. + Hung up on first time.
. + Told business hours were over for the day, the second time, though clearly my call was within business hours.
* Synch worked again at 7:30 AM, but dashboard and web site down again, this morning!

7:38 AM
* Learning curve issue? Yes! Fitbit's Not mine.

Tomorrow is another day. Still dog poo!

    I would return it and get a new one. I just got mine last week and I have not had any of those problems with it. The web site seems to be working. Once in a while it says I have not logged my sleep but other than that it syncs and logs everything the way it should. If you just bought that fitbit and you have all those issues I would think it is a defective device. An exchange might save you a lot of trouble if it's no good. I got mine off ebay used. It had badge history from the prior owner but I emailed fitbit and they wiped it out in their system so I could start new with the goals. I think it's a good product and if you get one that works properly you'll love it. Hope you are able to get it worked out. :)

    I've had issues with mine at times, and usually I have to recycle the web page "dashboard" a few times before the numbers jive with the numbers on my FitBit.

Pretty much a random number generator, IMO...

    It synched several times, last night. The mother ship is down.

are in sync, all will be fine.

    Learning curve?

My husband and I have been using ours for several months without incident. Unless you count swimming with it by accident! LOL Still worked afterwards, but I do not recommend!!!

It motivates us to get up and move around even on days we aren't hitting the gym. For me, that makes it worth it.

    I hope you get some help with it. That's frustrating. I have been going through something similar with Straight Talk. I hope they give you better customer service tomorrow. I was really thinking about getting one of the Fitbits, but now you've got me wondering. Hmm. Let me know how it works out. emoticon

    Once you get it working I think you'll love it. I got one through my our help was at work as well if something went wrong with it.
