Well my streaks of two weeks ago ended last week which was an extremely crazy, busy week.
First of all, it was in the 90's and the Black Forest Fire was @25 miles from our home. The smoke was thick and we needed to keep the house closed up to breathe. We don't have A/C, so it was pretty miserable.
On Tues night our refrigerator stopped cooling. I put anything that could be frozen into our upright freezer in the garage. The rest we put into a cooler. The repairman couldn't come until Thursday morning. He said the compressor was going. Fortunately that part is still under warranty. The part was ordered and hopefully the refrigerator will be fixed tomorrow - one week later.
Wed morning, our microwave stopped working. Our three granddaughters were dropped off early evening. We had them until Sat. while my son and his wife were at the homeschool convention. Also that night we had a 5 member band here. They wanted to leave the next morning by 6am.
So I was up at 4:45am making breakfast on Thurs morning. Soon after they left the granddaughters woke up, then daycare kids came. I also had a friend's kids because she was at the homeschool convention too. I had to keep the kids inside because of the smoke. It was a long day. That night we went to Sam's Club to get a mini refrigerator and new microwave.
Fri was a little better. The air was clearer in the morning, so the kids were able to play outside. Sat we took the girls up to their parents at the convention. We enjoyed walking around the exhibit hall for a couple of hours. Then we headed home and got ready for a wedding (another late night). Sun was Father's Day and all the kids came over for a BBQ.
Furthermore, I fell down the stairs on Wed morning. I didn't break anything, but I did bruise my rear end. It is better now, but it still hurts to sit. I couldn't sit straight up on the stationary bike at the gym today. Also, Thurs night I fell down the two steps going into the garage. I banged up my right arm and slightly twisted my right ankle.
Needless to say, I hardly exercised last week and was barely on the computer or SP. I am ready to get back into the swing of things. I didn't have any daycare kids today, so I went and to the gym this afternoon and did a good high intensity & tabata cardio workout. Then came home and did some SP strength videos.
I am still catching up from last week...I did 8 sets of bedding + daycare linens today. I need to sit down, evaluate and make some new goals.
