Seattle - Day Two - Locks Cruise Tour

Monday, June 17, 2013

On Wednesday, June 5, 2013 - we went on the Locks Cruise Tour - the Locks in Seattle were opened 100 years ago to connect fresh water Lake Washington with the Puget Sound. We raveled along the Lake Washington Ship Canal and transit through the Locks themselves which allowed for the 30 foot difference in the two water levels.
(Can you tell I copied the brochure :)
ON our way to the Locks took pictures of the scenery -

House Boat used in the Movie Sleepless in Seattle

After our trip to the Locks - my brother in law made a YUMMY dinner - clams, salad & salmon with pesto sauce - so good - we also had some great wine & Expresso after dinner.
The weather was great that day - in the high 70s we got a little sunburned.

Hope everybody had a great Tuesday. :)
