So in an effort to boost my fruit and veggie intake, and slim down one of my meals a day I've been having a smoothie everyday; generally for breakfast or dinner since I'm not at home around lunch time. The only problem I kept having was after adding my protein powder they would be SUPER fluffy, and airy....not very tasty.
So I'm using this week to create 2-3 really good smoothies, and get my blending technique down. So far the best tip I've gotten was to add the protein powder last and just lightly pulse until its stirred in, and use more water.
Ideally I would like to have a "base smoothie" that I can add more fruit to as the summer goes along, so we will see what happens!!!
