Sunday/Monday blog

Monday, June 17, 2013

I do have to say that Fathers Day was a great day for my family...we went to a dairy breakfast in our area. And I spent the morning with my dad, hubby and my boys.

After we were done with breakfast I ended up with a very sharp pain in my side and ended up in the ER. I thought it was kindey stones, but 5 hours later the doctor said it was a gallbladder attack. I have never had so much pain before and I had a hard time catching my breath. They did a EKG, and took x-rays, and drew blood and then finally did a CT scan.

I do have to say today I feel 100% better, I even went to work.

We also found out that we won 2 prizes at the breakfast, that our names were put in for a raffle.....One was a nice breakfast basket with pancake mixes and homemade maple syrup and the other one had a golf umbrella, hat coffee mug, and a light jacket.

Thats all for now...Hope everyone has a great week.

Well your weekend was certainly eventful. I'm so glad to hear that the pain went away and I hope it stays away! Congrats on winning those baskets. They sound interesting.

Sorry you had so much pain. Did you get some guidelines as to preventing this from happening again? For me, I have to avoid fat alone as in chips, and I have to eat pork with apples.

Congratulations on winning those nice prizes. Enjoy!

Well, a real mixed weekend...good/bad/ and good again. Have you had gallbladder trouble before? I suppose the breakfast was higher fat than you usually eat. Hope all is well now, take it easy.
