My "last" Workout - Very Emotional

Monday, June 17, 2013

Today was my last workout with my trainer Olivia. She is done at the end of the week. I am going to miss her so much! She is moving all the way across the country! I am excited for her because i know she is happy about moving back to her home state. I am sad because she was the best trainer ever! She has helped me accomplish so much! Having her instruction has been such a valuable tool. I don't think I could have accomplished half of the things I did without her!

We were doing squat presses with a weighed bar on an inverted bosu ball when she broke the news to me. I almost started to cry!! I didn't think that it would bring out to many emotions in me, but it did!

I am going to inquire what I need to do to start my 2 week trail of PC Fit before I make the commitment to it. I am sure I am going to love it. I figured out I can take it twice a week and maybe be able to fit in an extra one here and there.

I have also told Olivia that I would write her a letter of recommendation in order to help her get a job in her new city. I am not exactly sure what I am going to put in it, but I will think of something. I am looking at templates online to help.

I went to the dentist today, and got a clean bill of health. No cavities! Whoo hooo!!!

    I can TOTALLY relate!!!

I'm such a creature of habit, that when I have special people in my life and things are 'just right', I DONT want them to change!!

Working on that tho! emoticon

I can only imagine how much you will miss Olivia. I think that God sometimes puts certain special people in our lives who really make an impact on us, and it sounds like Olivia did that for you!
Most importantly You Can Do It! Carry on, and I'm wishing you luck in quickly finding another trainer who will be a great fit.

I am sorry about your trainer/friend who is leaving!
You have learned a lot, and now you know that you can do it yourself. And you know that you can get help if you need it. It is really cool of you to write her a letter of recommendation. Just put your amazing weight loss in it, and that you have amazing muscle mass after WLS. That would get her a job in NO time.
Hang in there!

Sounds like you are losing a great trainer. Always remember what she has shared with you and you can continue to keep up with all of the good that she has taught you.

While Olivia is moving on, all she has taught you is not. She has left you different and better from what you have said and nothing will take that away. You are forever changed because she has been in your life, you are so blessed :)

I am sad for the loss of your trainer, but glad for your good day. I hope you find a trainer that's just as good as the one you lost.
