Well, this is my 10th day with my Fitbit Flex and I have to say, I really like it. For one thing, I know I am pretty sedentary as I have a desk job, but I do try to work out 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes. But on those other days, I am barely moving! Sure, I go up and down the stairs a few times to refill my water or tea and I go out to get the mail, but that is about it. Now that I have the Fitbit Flex I have set a goal of 10,000 steps a day and I have met that goal for the past 6 days. Some days it has not been easy as I am still recovering from my leg injury, but I still met it. Yesterday I was over 15,000 steps and another day over 12,000. I try and start my morning out with a 15 minute walk before work, take another short break in the afternoon and then try and get to the gym or work out at home in the evening on the elliptical. I know my husband thinks I am a little obsessive, but in a good way.
I also bought some Kettlebells and a introductory DVD. I did my first workout last week. I think I will like it. I had to skip some of the moves due to my leg hurting, like the lunges, but hopefully I'll be doing those soon and hopefully back to running again!
