The Power of Vulnerability

www.ted.com/talks/brene_
brown_on_vulnerability.html

I have written before about struggling with shame. This is a great lecture on the origin of shame and how it plays out in our society and on a personal level.

It's a Ted talk and it is 20 minutes. I found it absolutely fascinating. It's contributed to my understanding of this powerful force and I'm sure I'll watch it again.

Brene Brown has conducted some critical research and then is able to convey her findings so we can all understand it. She has several videos online and also a webpage. Thanks for bringing this forward

IT WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER FOR ALL OF US IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYONE ISN'T PERFECT - IN EITHER BODY OR IN MIND.

Thank you for the link. I agree I was fascinated also. I never gave this subject much thought about how it relates to my journey. But now I really can't turn my mind off the shame topic

This is a fascinating resource that I did not know existed. Thank you for it. Brene Brown is engaging and entertaining. From a mundane level it is one way to look at guilt.
