Today's coaching session was about making mistakes and what you do with them. I used to be the person who made a mistake and beat myself up and gave up completely only to restart and repeat that cycle over and over again.
I realized while reading through the articles that went along with this lesson, that is no longer me! Somewhere along the trail of trying to change, I did. Don't get me wrong, I still eat things I would be better off not eating but I have fewer of those lapses now and more importantly I don't give up on myself because of them.
Somewhere along the way this became a goal of trying to feed my body with healthy nutrients that also taste good. Trying to be and stay as healthy as possible. I want to lose weight, don't get me wrong, but it is more about being healthy than losing weight. Losing weight is important to me though because it will take pressure off my bad knees, feet, and spine.
