Yep, anything that comes in a box or a bottle, which promises sweetness - beware.

About the only positive thing is that it is lower glycemic. That's it.

emoticon Hi friend-it is true what your friend told you. I bought the stuff and then checked it out-it now resides in my garbage can. I compared it to sugar, brown sugar, and honey and they all won over the Agave. My Hubby told me please no more cactus juice in his oatmeal-I thought that was rather funny! emoticon emoticon

Anytime something becomes a fad...it should be questioned. That's what I think now. I bought a stevia plant and since it's a leaf, I think I'm going to stick a leaf in my shake to sweeten it...chew it...or brew it with tea. I took a leaf and chewed it and wow was it sweet! I don't know what Dr. Fuhrman was say about it, but it is a leafy green. emoticon
