BDS Day 2 - Pick 2 Reasonable Diets

"Once I accept the fact that
I have to follow a healthy eating plan
for life, dieting will be easier."

Dr. Beck shared some guidelines for a "Doable Diet":

Your diet should be healthy.
Choose a diet that includes food you like and can easily prepare.
Choose a diet's that flexible.
Choose a diet that allows you to budget for indulgences.
Learn from your past.

I picked a primary diet and a backup diet (“reasonable” and “nutritious.”) that are:

The reason for the vegan is to get more plants into my menu. Increasing veggies is something I need to continue to foster. Plus it is summer and so much wonderful fresh produce is available. :)

Read my Advantages Response Card at least twice.
Read other Response Cards as needed.
Investigated diets.
Chose a reasonable primary diet and a backup diet

All done!!!

Resistant Rebellion a.k.a. I don't wanna.
Response card: "Unless I get really good at following my plan, I'll be at risk for staying where I am . Rigidity is essential right now, but it's only temporary."
Having a plan will make me feel safe and in control and give me direction.

    I'm feeling really good about where you are right now, and am inspired! Unfortunately for my diet (but great for my soul) we are back in Mass. with DD, SIL and DGGD (darling great granddaughter). Tomorrow the schedule is babysit (yay!) then 5 Guys Burgers for lunch emoticon , and then my daughter has a lovely but NON diet dinner planned! Oh well! Wednesday is a day I will have more control over.

    Hey Nancy! Good on you for getting back to Beck's. You have inspired me to do the same. I had phenomenal luck the first time I did it but somehow I let the old habits back in.

Since then I've tried a couple of times but not entirely successful but I liked what you said so I'm getting back into as well.

Thanks for the motivation!
