Well, I have a full week. My pepper tree in the back yard has at least 100 hot peppers on it now so I need to harvest now so they will continue to produce. I have a friend that wants some so I will be delivering them this week. I found a recipe to roast them dry and keep for future use in my recipes. I will be looking more up on the internet. These are some type of harbanaros but not the ones that I usually see in our grocery. These are longer and thinner, but really hot.
I have some tomaotes that are becoming really ripe so I will be making a plain Italian sause with them to use in several recipes over the next couple of weeks. We are in the process of eating down everything in our freezer so we can replace it over the next few months. We will be getting fresh peas and beans in a couple of months so we need to use up the ones we have in stock. Told Hubby if we really wanted to, we would not have to make a trip to the store for several weeks, except for bread and milk......I will still be going to the market for fresh fruits and veggies. We should be able to save some money back from the groceries for a few weeks.
Miss Coco will be needing food this next week, so that is a dent in the grocery budget as her little four pound bag is $22......but then she is worth it. She loves this food and the Di no vit is really helping her allergies as far as scratching and chewing is going.
