This Saturday the kids and I went out to see my Dad for Fathers Day. When I got there and gave my Dad a hug I knew something was wrong. He kept telling me that it wasn't a big deal ... After I got the kids in the pool and sat down for a second with my Dad we shot the sh1t and then it came time to address the elephant in the room.
This no big deal could possibly be lung cancer or it could be nothing he said. If it's lung cancer he said they think they caught it early and he could either have surgery to cut it out or do chemo or do both. Of course I hope its nothing.
They took four different samples of his lung and while doing so his lung collapsed. He has this tube sticking out of his chest now. My Dad is so strong he is a fighter and he is not taking a negative attitude. He said he's not going to put the cart before the horse and that I shouldn't either.
I can't stand it.
Maybe whoever reads this can send healthy healing prayers or meditations or anything positive towards his way. I should be finding out the results this afternoon.
