Small changes count

Monday, June 17, 2013

Trying for small changes today. Making an effort to add more movement into each day. Walked the dog this morning twice as far as normal. I will also vow to take the stairs instead of the elevator from the basement parking garage at work this morning. I usually start each diet off with unreasonable goals and get a little overwhelmed. I am ready to start slow and make a difference this time.

Welcome to SP!! I am so glad that you found us. I'd like to suggest that you quit calling this a diet and comparing it to what you've done before. I am queen of the diet and have lost a lot before on diets. this is a program that you introduce a bit at a time and it becomes a way of life that stays with you forever or for as long as you want it. I am totally surprised, but after having lost 172 pounds in just over 4 years and keeping it off (which is a first for me), I am sold on this plan. Set your beginning goals and organize rewards for yourself. Please check out our team page and look at all of the support there and please ask me an questions you need to have success.
