The scale saga continues. My scale died......I bought a new scale......the new scale did not work..........ARRRRRRRRGGGGGG! !! I exchanged scale and am now certain that my old scale was off by a few pounds.
I will know for sure in the morning but either way I am feeling a little more settled now that my nice (debatable) new scale is sitting there on the floor for me to check in with a few (hundred) times a day.
I have tried to stay away from the blasted thing but I just can't feel like I am making any progress and have a horrible fear of sliding back if I do not check myself regularly.
I use to weigh myself every day. Then went back to old habits. I am thinking this time I might do it weekly, so i dont beat myself up if I see nothing or little to nothing every day. Have to see a change weekly?? Right. The big scale debut is great. To scale or not to scale every day. 1159 days ago
I know how hard it is NOT to weigh yourself daily, but to see real progress just weigh yourself 1st thing in the morning in the nude. You will see fluctuations in weighing through out the day, because you should be eating food and drinking LOTS of water. Don't be discouraged by what the scale says, if you are eating according to your plan and drinking at least half your body weight in water daily... you will see progress... watch your salt intake, too... lots of salt will make your retain water. I used to weigh myself just about daily. Then I fell off the bandwagon and was terrified to get back on my scale. But I am doing a challenge and have to weigh in on Mondays. As hard as it has been, I actually find it more rewarding to weigh in on one day a week. 1226 days ago
