The best compliment ever

Sunday, June 16, 2013

My son (almost 5) and I were doing a workbook page today. The exercise was to draw a picture then write a story about the picture. He drew a picture of me. For his story, he said (and I wrote it for him), "Mama takes a little nap, then wakes up and goes outside. When she's outside, she runs. My mama always runs".

I guess it's not a compliment per se, but I love hearing him say that's how he thinks of me. I'm not sure where he got the nap idea, though ;)

Thanks, everyone! LOL I do run in the mornings, so maybe sleeping is my "nap"!

Maybe a nap is what he thinks you do by night instead of sleeping, especially since you are probably going to bed later then him and are up before him.
