Day 2: Slaying the Food Dragon!

First, want to give a big thank you to everybody that replied to yesterday's blog of day 1! Unfortunately, one of my weaknesses is not stopping after just one bite...so, yes I was proud of myself for not eating the whole pie. Thanks for your support!
Today I kicked the food dragon right between the eyes! Starting off with my oatmeal and banana got me off on a good note. A peanut butter sandwich and V8 juice for lunch. For dinner a delicious penne and vegetable combo with extra peas. It was pretty good. I had my minimum of 8 glasses of water as well. I also rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes, and did Malibu Pilates for 30 minutes. And I did some intense stretching. I always feel so good after stretching. A great workout day!
Tomorrow (day 3) will be my first big challenge sense starting SP two days ago. I will be taking a road trip that will last about 3 hours. Typically, I look so forward to this trip because I drive through my favorite fast food place, and grub. I get a silly, euphoric feeling when I get fast food on a road trip! That's just messed up!
What will tomorrow bring? The plan is to pack healthy snacks and have plenty of water on hand. My focus will be on being purposeful during the drive. Wish me luck!
But for today, I celebrate a victory!
