Those 3 little pounds...

Yes, it is weigh-in day and I was so pumped to do so.

I only lost 3 pounds - but I look at it this way:

Yes, I worked my tail off this week and stuck with a healthy eating plan - with only minimal results, but those 3 pounds will stay off.

Those 3 pounds are truly a reward of my "hard work".

Those 3 pounds makes my goal even closer than last week.

And those 3 pounds makes me feel better and are proof that I can do this for the long haul.

I was truly BLESSED with the strength to get through each of the past 7 days. I thank the dear Lord for this.

I thank the dear Lord for friends like all of you. You give me encouragement when I need it the most. Through your blog posts, comments and goodies - I feel appreciated.

And I count my blessings. There are so many members who are dealing with daily physical pain that they have no control over - yet, they are my inspiration because they will not let this pain allow them to give up.

Thank you all for your continuous support. I sincerely appreciate it!

Be someone's inspiration today - you can make a difference!

You are so right about those 3 pounds.
Just grab 3 sticks of butter....that is
what you lost. I cant and don't want to find
a spot for them on this body of mine.

    Wow. 3 pounds in a week is awesome! It is nothing to sneeze at at all.

And you're absolutely right, it is thee pounds closer to your goal.

    When I weigh in on Wednesday at the Doctor's office I will be happy to have at least lost 10 lbs, and this is for 3 mos. I know I have built and strenthened muscle, and I know my body is shaping up by the fact I am wearing a size 12 jean after many many years of a size 16-18.

3 lb's is a joyous amount of weight to lose in a week! Stay strong. This way the weight you are losing now, won't return overnight if you were not eating right and exercising. We all know that routine.

    3 pounds is still great! Especially when you consider that your body is probably adding muscle too, not just losing fat. Some weeks' numbers are higher than others. So I'm glad you're thankful for the loss and giving yourself credit, because you deserve it. Enjoy your Sunday!
