So last night, we (DH and I)celebrated Father's Day with my Dad. We took the parents out to Culver's for supper and than we treated them to a local baseball game. It's like Triple A b-ball but, none the less, its baseball.
Needless to say, the game lasted until the third inning when the skies opened and it poured!
While the time we were together was shortened, we had a blast and made some more memories. So, not a total wash-out.
This morning, I headed out for my scheduled long run of the weekend. I'm up to 11 miles and felt awesome running this morning. I try and be out the door and running just as the sun is coming up.
I live in the country, so I usually have to plan my routes in advance and do a lot of going around the 'country block'. Today I took a few seconds to say hi to the local cattle!
The calves are sooo cute at this time of year, as they are frolicking and butting heads with each other.
My DH and I are heading over to a local community for their community picnic. Have a great Sunday!
