Update

So we went to the beach for a long weekend. Had a great time although the weather was "iffy". We laugh like fools with this couple which was just what I needed!
I'm not tracking food (although I am trying to stay in range) and the exercise has stopped. emoticon I have a "busy excuse" for every day! I'm really hoping to get back on track this week. I know I'll have more energy and feel better......so the decision must be made!!! My frustration is my weight is staying the same (dropped a pound or so and then came back up) even without being disciplined. But, my body is starting to look a little rounder and "fluffier".
Still much to do before the wedding in 5 weeks. Painter is coming this week to paint our bedroom/bath, study, and guest room. Our study has one entire wall of built in bookshelves FILLED with books which I had to move out yesterday. WHEW!!! That was a lot of work but it's done. Guest room is almost cleaned out; so our bedroom is all that's left. He is supposed to be here Thursday so I think I'll be ready.
Wedding drama has calmed a bit so that is good. We went to the boat last night with daughter, son in law, and grandkids. Had a blast!! They were so much fun!! When we got in the car to leave our 3 year old grandson said "that was a great boat ride, grandpa!" emoticon
They will be here again today along with son and future DIL to celebrate son's birthday and Father's Day. It will be busy and chaotic!! I love family time!

I love family time too. and I LOVE hearing about yours.

Getting ready for a wedding is a lot like getting ready for Christmas. You just keep working on it till the day comes and then you quit working on it. emoticon

Can't imagine how you stay sane with this kind of pressure coming up but it is fun stress at least. My mother was always upset that I eloped but it was the best thing for me even if it wasn't for her. LOL.

About the time I think I might be able to lose weight I have a new problem. Right now it is asthma and a pulled back muscle. I am forced to rest yet again. Buying groceries should be interesting this week when I can barely lift my tea mug.

I am about as fluffy as I a going to allow myself to get. LOL.

Sounds like you are having plenty of fun times to break up the stress. I need some r&R as well.

Sounds like an awesome weekend! And I agree with everyone else, all that moving books, etc., should definitely count as exercise! It's hard work!

I agree cleaning/housework is exercise. I think if you search the Fitness tracker it comes up as Heavy cleaning. I hope you had a nice day with family.

I agree with Rwethairyet...all that physical labor around the house IS exercise. You betcher bottom dollar I claim heavy housework on my Fitness Tracker! You're doing great!

So how come cleaning out an entire wall of books (or mowing the lawn, or anything that's "hard" work) doesn't ever seem to equal the time spent in exercise? It's physical. You're pushing and pulling and lifting and carrying and yet......
Glad you had such an nice break with your long weekend. Have a great day today with your family!
