Not-green Green Smoothie

Yesterday's breakfast smoothie:
- 1 c. baby spinach
- 1 c. fresh strawberries
- 1 c. frozen blueberries
- 1 c. chocolate almond milk

Optional:
- 1/4 c. oats
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- Sweetener, maybe not?

Tasted good, and it did NOT look green! (Thank you SparksBuddie for suggesting blueberries!) Woo-hoo!!

Tracker stats for the first 4 items: calories: 235, carbs: 50, fat: 4, Protein: 4



It tasted mostly of berries. I'd make this one again for sure!

    You really do like that chocolate don't you? It doesn't trigger you to eat more of it? I treat chocolate just like sugar. I know I will want more and it won't be a safe chocolate, it will be in the form of a Milky way or a Snickers bar.

Your smoothie looks good none the less. I would just trade out the chocolate for regular unsweetened almond milk. I do love blueberries in mine too. But I do opt for the banana (potassium) and one kind of berrie.
