Day 15 and all is well. The scale gave me a repeat of the 194.4 today. I'll take it. It's nice to see that it "stuck" and didn't flux back up.
Mia and I got our walk in early this morning...as it was supposed to get hotter during the day...although we didn't hit the road until about 11:30...it was still nice out...sunny and breezy.
Ate in range today. I fixed DH and I grilled cheese for lunch. I've been making them with the "I can't believe it's not butter spray"...no calories...awesome. I added slivers of a bell pepper to them today...from our garden! So, it had a little more nutrition to it. I'm trying to find creative ways to use bell peppers. Since we are growing them...need to be ready to eat them! He's also growing strawberries and we had our first ones of those the other day...only two...more to come! And I made us a really nice fruit salad...pineapple...blueberrie
s...and raspberries...with a dollop of fat free Cool Whip on top. Yum! It was a very colorful bowl of fruit.
I made a list of things I want to get done in the coming months...some of them I hope to complete in June...and some by the end of August. I have 8 projects and I ranked them by priority...it is really helping me to see them like this instead of having them rolling around in my head. And today, I got one of them done already! It wasn't a big deal...but I hadn't completed it for a couple of months. I had purchased a new set of canisters for the kitchen...pretty...white porceline with light wood lids...match my kitchen really well. I had washed them but had not labeled or filled them. Today, I got it done! It was on the list...boom. And I got all the dishes washed and put away and the kitchen table sorted out and put away (where EVERYTHING accumulates...ugh). I'm SO happy with my kitchen right now. I rearranged the counter for the canisters and put a bunch of stuff away. I LOVE it!
I Skyped with DD in Wyoming for 4 hours today! Think we miss each other a little bit? It was so fun. We planned our cross country trip coming up in September. And I got my little granddaughter to wave (I swear she is waving...yes...she's a genius). It helped to be talking to her all the while I was working on my kitchen. Made the time fly! And DH cleaned the garage today. We are on a roll! I think we're both excited about DD coming back to Ohio and want to have room for them...which means cleaning up and cleaning out. It's something I've been wanting to do anyway...so it's just that extra push. Yay!
All the Skyping and kitchen cleaning didn't put many steps on my Fitbit. So I did my in-house marching after I was done to complete my steps. I got them done about 11:50 pm! Just in time! Yay! I love that my streak is pushing me to do things I wouldn't usually do. Awesome!
Hope you all had a great Saturday and have a terrifice Sunday planned! Wish the men in your life a Happy Father's Day! Keep up the good work! Spark on!
