An Unusual Occurance

This is what slithered up my dining room screen during the storm today. It then wiggled itself around and fell off to the ground. I don't know where it is now. it is either a garter, king, or black snake about 4 feet long.

    Nice Pictures. The shape of the head and the spots you can see in the second half of the 1st picture and the general pattern you can see in the 2nd picture, lead me to believe it is a Speckled King Snake (Lampropeltis getula holbrooki).

    My friends up north here never believe me when I tell them about all the critters down south ... especially lots of snakes -- love the snake hunts in Oklahoma ..... great flea markets ! LOL ... glad you had the window down ....Roc
