I know I have been bousting about how "good I feel " but last night that came to a halt . I went to a festival and bought tickets for a ride and when i got on the buckle wouldnt latch because I was to big for the ride. I was so embarrassed I literally cried from the time it happened until I went to sleep. Noone understands the pain and self hate I have for myself.. Im trying to change it but what do I do if it doesnt work? Im soo unhappy and I at 20 years old have given up on love lets face it no guy is attracted to whales.. I d emoticon ont know im done trying.

Don't give up on yourself. I was where you are couldn't fit on rides or airplane seats. You can get to where you want. You can do this. You can make it work. THIS TIME. All it takes is knowing you are worth the work and not giving up.

Yes I agree it took me 50 years of trying and failing and trying again. When I joined SP I was looking for a free site to help me. Hey you are 20 so you are way ahead already!!!.

Use the set back to fuel your desire to lose the fat. Start and keep going even if you only lose 0.1 kg like me this week--it's going down. It is hard, but it can be done. You get to go slow and change some items you eat or how much you eat or you find some don't aid in the losses so you give them away altogether.

Have a look at the people's blogs who have responded to you and see how they still struggle but keep going, check out their highs and rewards and woo hoo moments.

We would love to be there for your woo hoo moments and there will be many. :)

Keep blogging too there is a lot to learn in putting it all down to read later.

I'm sorry you had that experience but I know you can use that to push yourself to be the person you want to be.

As for men-- be who you are and they will come to you.

My hubby has 'put' up with me for 30 years now and I've been huge for a lot of those and he loved me and encouraged me each time I tried and failed and is so proud now I have found a plan that I can 'go' with.

Determination and consistency need to be your cornerstones. I'm sure you didn't put on your weight in just a few weeks or months, so it will take time for it to come off. Honestly, if you feel this bad right now, how much worse are you going to feel in 10 or 20 years if you don't pick yourself up right now and get to work? You're still so young and have so much life ahead of you, now is the time to get busy so that you can make the most of all of the tomorrows to come.

BTW - guys who are worth anything, aren't influenced by the weight of someone AT ALL! It is the person within - the attitude; their compassion; their consideration of others, etc. etc.

My Sweet - you are NOT destined to be fat AT ALL!!! Unfortunately, the weight doesn't suddenly disappear. You will continue to go on this healthy lifestyle journey - you will continue to lose weight. You WILL overcome this!

Unfortunately, we can't go from over-weight to our goal in the bat of an eye. We HAVE to go through the process. One day you will realize that, "hey - if can fit into smaller clothes!" ..... and, "Hey - I can GET ON THAT RIDE!" It will mean even more to you when that happens. Just hang in there are work on the changes, and the GRADUAL reduction in your weight, and you will be blown away by the results :-)

BIG hugs,
Kris xxx
