Need to tone down my time on FB and Spark

I am putting in way too much time on both, and I need to get back to living my life, and working on the new me.

I love to blog here and banter and interact, but I find myself on here way too long. Facebooks not much better.

So my plan is 1 hour in the evening, this also includes charting my nutrition and fitness. Reading blogs and catching up. Mornings need to be for getting back to active and creativitys I have planned, I love to paint, sew, and do things around my house. And my new love EXERCISE!!! Keeping active is the key.

Other than entering Nutrition/fitness for the day. Sundays are my day off from both.

Will she do it you ask? LOL I am hoping so! I loves you guys!!!

Ok just one day away from it and I am already missing it crazy!!! Yeah I just need to pare down a bit. I just enjoy it so much!!! Will figure another routine out. I just don't want to sit so long, I might look at the standing treadmill work station (SKATER), so I can write and answer all msgs.

    One thing I do is not blog more than once or twice a week. That really takes the time-especially loading the pics & videos! Although we love your blogs & I love doing mine...if you want to cut back on those...that would be ok. I know what you mean though...I spend hours a day on the computer & most is on SP. But, I make sure to get up often to do chores, etc. I have cut back a lot myself as time has gone on. But, I do love SP! I don't have nor do I want facebook or twitter. I don't know how anyone gets anything accomplished, if they work, spark, have kids, take care of a house and or do exercise. Do what is good for you! Just glad you are going to leave us!! emoticon

    For a while I did a work at home job and the entire time I was on my computer working, I sat on an exercise ball. I should do that for other computer uses also. It's hard to slump when you're sitting on an exercise ball. emoticon emoticon

    emoticon My Spark Friend. It is funny that you are writing about this topic. I am also going to have to emoticon spending so much time on SP. I do not and have never done FB. What has happened to me is I have a terrible pain in my neck and I have been told that it is due to so much time I spend on the computer. I am getting nothing done. I came to grips with this yesterday. I hope to hear from everyone but I am also going to cut way back. Spark On and good luck in all that you do. emoticon

    I'm with you on this. Since I am retired I don't have to rush out the door every morning so I sit with my coffee and cruise SP. By the time I get through all of my e-mails, challenge team, Spark Coach, blogs, etc. it is high noon and I have gotten nothing constructive done. I do love SP and all of my Spark Friends so much though that it will be hard deciding how to cut back.

I am hardly on FB any more as it is so full of junk that I can hardly wade through it all to see the things I am really interested it. I thought I would feel out of touch and miss it, but I have discovered that I don't miss it one once !

    I totally agree with you. I am addicted to SP right now.

You have a very good plan mapped out for yourself. And, you're right - we have to keep moving!

    When I am doing SP, I am on it too much. I like the comaraderie, but it's easy to get stuck…hyperlink world. Anyway, I concur. And thanks emoticon for commenting on my site about my kitties…I luvs animals too!

    I'm with you on this! I'm starting by limiting my start time to 10 am, weekdays or weekends. I've already pared back my teams, but I still need to do more!
