Yoga, FitBit ready and blow-up pool

Saturday, June 15, 2013

Yesterday was pretty much a down day. I guess my body did need a break, as some Sparkers mentioned. I did get on the recumbent bicycle for a short 20-something minute ride after dinner just so I wouldn't break my current streak. After that it was back to bed for the evening. My workout must have looked something like this:

My daughter picked up a couple yoga videos that were recommended by a dear Sparker. They are both Rodney Yee DVD's.

I am looking forward to doing Yoga daily to help relieve stress, strengthen my core, have better balance. I know there are other benefits, but someone is currently talking to me so my brain isn't working. I'm not the best at multitasking anymore.

Today is my first full day with my FitBit Flex. I can't wait to report on that!

Okay, my daughter is waiting for me so we can go shopping. I'm not a big spender so Saver's it is! And probably a bite to eat while we're out, too.

I hope everyone is having the best Saturday possible.

Also, my heart goes out sincerely to a SparkFriend who lost her dear friend yesterday. For that I am truly sorry.

Oh, I almost forgot...

I aired up the pool today.

Love the look of that pool. I just love water. :) I should be living near an ocean.

I have been trying to incorporate yoga into my life, too. About once a week was as much as I was able to manage. Then, I decided to just start with doing Sun Salutations, which only takes a couple of minutes, EVERY day and see if that helps me any. After that is a part of my life, then I'll add more. I hope you fare better than I, with your videos, yoga is so good for you. emoticon emoticon
