It's the final countdown....

Saturday, June 15, 2013

I'm going to be a bridesmaid in my friends wedding September 21st. She said on Facebook the other day "100 days until the wedding". WOW!
So, I'm not one for fad diets, so I'm not going to freak out an binge diet for 3 months...but I am going to use that date as a nice goal setter for me.
I'm going to see if I can exercise EVERYDAY until the big day....that would be 97 days.
I can do it...and it will be a great habit-former for me.
I'm not going to do intense workouts every day. My goal is to do circuit training 5 days a week and power walking 2 days a week. By the time the wedding gets here, exercise will be part of my daily routine.
I'm worth it AND excited at the idea!
And I'll look pretty darn cute in that bridesmaid dress emoticon

I'll post a pic of me in the dress when the big day arrives.
GO ME!!!! emoticon

MAAGIEVAN, thanks for your concern : ) That"s why I put my "real" workout at 5 days a week and 2 days of walking/moving. I figure I can do my normal 5/7 and just make sure I do something active the other two. I think it's an attainable goal - and will help me commit to my 5 a week power workout...of which I struggle with consistency.
I can do it!

It is really not that long to go. I have to ask you...are you not setting yourself up for failure? 7/7 days is not allowing for a cold or flu or for other things that come our way. If you make it 5/7 days for your own challenge you can easily claim victory AND if you are healthy you can still add the other two days and then you can honestly say you have exceeded your expectations and your goal. Think about it...
