Here I am at the start of the summer BL challenge. We have to blog about our goals for this challenge. I always have a hard time with this blog, because I have been stuck for so long.
I saw my sleep doctor recently, to talk about my latest sleep test. She said to me she was not even going to talk to me about my weight, because she knows I am doing all that I can and at least I am maintaining. She believes if I was not being so diligent I would be gaining. She really summed it up perfectly.
I make healthy choices, I eat within my calorie range, I exercise consistently, I change things up, I eat mindfully, I drink lots of water, I track all my food and exercise, I wear a fitbit and heart rate monitor, I get plenty of sleep, and I have a hobby I enjoy.
SO I guess my goals for this summer are to keep doing what I am doing.
At times it is hard not to get discouraged. I want to say, nothing I am doing makes any difference so why not just eat something sweet? But then I step back and think about how much healthier and stronger I am from all I have done in the past four years, and how much I have accomplished.
I am happy to say I am still here, still trying and hope to some day get to ONe-derland.
