Focus on Me: Day 5 &6

Due to my work schedule (and the fact that the gym is at work) I worked out with the trainer two days in a row. emoticon Yesterday was legs emoticon and today was arms & core. emoticon

I was sore after the workout yesterday and feared I would have to take the elevator upstairs to my desk. emoticon
Some of yesterdays fun:
Walking on the treadmill at 5% and 10% incline as fast as I could
Side planks
Core workout with medicine ball
Reverse lunges on Bosu
Squats with weighted bar
Side shuffle between cones with burpees (2-3-4-5-4-3-2)

Today's fun (15 each set of each exercise):
Burpees to overhead press 10lb weights 2x and 8lb weights 1x (last set)
Chest press on Physio Ball 10lb
Medicine ball slam
30 sec plank
Bicep curls on Bosu 10lb
Tricep extension on Bosu 10lb
Rope slam

Then both days I used the rowing machine for 10 minutes as they are having a Regatta challenge.

Also walked with a coworker this afternoon and hit WIO tonight.

Met my 10K step goal and then some
Again my me time is my exercise time, which I certainly got a lot of today. emoticon

    Amen on the me time is exercise time. I feel that way too! I normally think I'm a pretty strong person...but I when I read your workouts, I don't know how you do it! They sound killer! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on! emoticon emoticon

    Sounds like you've been doing a ton of exercise at work! Which is great. Definitely a good way to fit it into your day. What is the regata challenge?

    No words can describe how totally AWESOME you are!!!!! How great is it to have access to a personal trainer at your workplace gym too! Of course, you really may not be able to walk or lift anything today!! But it's a "hurt so good" feeling! Keep up the great work!
