Quick Update

Friday, June 14, 2013

Very short blog today. Hubby is doing much better. His PCP gave him some stuff to ďget things movingĒ. It seems to be working and he is no long in as much pain. Still have to wait to see the surgeon on the 24th but at least he is keeping things down and feeling better. From what I understand this is a guaranteed surgery. I just hope he comes through it all right. Didn't do so well the last time.

You all have NO IDEA how much your support means to me. Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming. Iím really not used to being supported like this. Iím usually the one doing it for someone else. It is wonderful.

I will be taking a lot of your advice over the next few days. I'm culling my drama llama herd. Those that donít show concern for me donít deserve mine, right? I did this after my divorce, so I know I can do it. It is just so hard and disappointing.

Somehow I am holding the food and exercise together the last two days. So go me! Hoping to run tonight but Iím not certain what is up with hubby. Iím leaving everything very flexible.

Have a great one! Love to all.

Glad your husband is doing better. I think culling the herd is a very good plan. I hope he continues to feel well until surgery.

I'm checking in briefly while I have computer access for a few minutes. Mostly just to check in on you. I'm so glad he is doing better, and be sure to share your concerns with the surgeon & anesthesiologist. If they know about what happened before they know what to look out for this time.

Know that I'm still sending you supportive thoughts and prayers.

Glad your hubby has something that's helping - but keep an eye on him, men deny pain and other signs of illness - so if he starts looking bad, call the dr again.

And yes, cull the drama llama herd. Maybe they can go to another field and feed off each other.

Guaranteed surgery? Guaranteed to be successful? To solve the problems?

Sometimes, it's good to have a good feelings like that going in.

Oh Kitty, I'm so glad to hear that something is helping your DH. It's to bad he has to continue to wait, but at least someone has done something to help him now !!

Do what you can for exercise, even if its a few chair exercises while watching TV an keeping an eye on hubby.

Close eyes, breathe deeply, wash away the stress. emoticon

Some people are so wrapped up in their own inner demons and drama, they are oblivious to other's needs.

Priority one is you and your family. We've all locked arms with you and walking through it with you in spirit.

From the movie, Object of My Affection... "head up young person!"

glad to hear he feels better. be there for him now , you can always run later. as for the pests don't be disappointed , think you do them an educational favor. what do you mean by guaranteed surgery? and it doesn't have to be the same like last time. as for being helped it's probably a lesson for you too , got to get used to ask for help and let people help you, many people love to help , you just had some bad luck until now emoticon

"Take care of your OWN stress level--my 2 cents is IF it even SMELLS OF STRESS ............ don't answer the phone or door .......... I know MANY peeps who screen their calls to pick and choose who they talk to ............. and you don't owe meanies the time of day ............. emoticon Like, "Sorry, no time to talk." ............ take care of YOU and hubby ...........     Good for team Kitty!!! glad DH is feeling a little better.

Happy to hear about the thinning of the Drama Llama Herd. **SIGH** It definitely is hard to do and it definitely is disappointing, but what the heck. Just as you said, if someone doesn't care about you then they aren't much worthy of your concern either.

Hang in there. Take care of you the best you can.

HUGS and smiles.

PS. I LOVED that shaved llama!
