A friend called me today and finally she had some good news, she finally sold her caboose. Yes a real Norfolk southern railroad caboose. Her husband bought it after retirement and since he has passed away in 2005 she needs the money. She is also now putting her 125 acres of land back on the market. But now she needs my assistance to help her sell all the ornaments she has purchased from 1973. I had made lists of all the ornaments she purchased from then through 2010 until my laptop caught on fire and I lost the file.
So now hopefully she still has a copy and she has asked that I please redo the list so that she can go into the basement, pull out 40 years of ornaments, put them into collections, photography them, then send the memory card to me so that I can upload the information and try to sell the ornaments for her online.
It will not be a small task but I know that she is not going to do the photography anytime soon. Luckily she lives in AL and I am not going to give 5 hours to spend a few days at her house helping her do all this. I do have the mission of trying to find out the approximate selling cost value of some of these ornaments though..
So now trying to get dinner cooked, house picked up and some knitting on my shawl done today. I should go out but have no desire to run out to the store So tomorrow or Sunday I will go out and try to get things down.
