I am very frustrated. I fell a few days ago. Started having issues with my low back and hip within 2 hours. needle pain radiating from sacral area to hip then around to groin and down right leg. I have history of disc and sciatica nerve damage from old injuries. I started doing heat therapy and pain patches. By evening my right knee was beginning to swell and throb. B morning pain was radiating down leg from mid thigh to mid calf. Knee very swollen and bruised. I was able to walk on it so decided I would just watch it. Next morning after painful night I called my doctor and went in that morning. She decided I needed a MRI on my knee. She gave me a shot for pain in office and called in prescriptions in for pain med and muscle relaxants. Well long story shortened. Yesterday had message on my phone. Get off my knee, and put immobilizer on it. She said I had extensive damage to knee. Called her this morning. She said she had sent report of MRI to my orthopedic Dr. Said to call and make appointment with him as soon as I could get in. She said I have ligament and meniscus tears . Said to stay off knee and keep it immobilized. Made call to Ortho DR. Will see him on June 24th. I don't have time for this, I take care of my dad and 2 homes. I can't be on my leg for more than 10 minutes without having throbbing aching pain. My knee is not stable, it is popping and sliding with each step. No walking or any strength or aerobic exercise for me for at least 2 weeks. I can do upper body exercises and some lower body exercises with my left leg. Sometimes I get so mad at myself I am so clumsy. It seems like I can't do anything right. But This will pass eventually. I just have to be patient. Hopefully immobilization and staying off it will be all that is needed. Surgery is not an option at this time.

I am so sorry to hear about your problems. I know how involved you are in caring for your dad and your pets - never mind the houses. But this could be your body's way of saying you need to take care of yourself first. Please know I am thinking of you and sending you prayers and best wishes.     I am so sorry! I know how frustrating and can only imagine how painful that is! Do EVERYTHING you can to take care of that knee and get it to heal properly. This is one time you have to put your health first. Loss of mobility can be dealt with for awhile but it's a real life changer if it becomes permanent. Take care! emoticon
