Today was the first time I came to the end of an hour long walk and thought I could go longer. I walked 2.64 miles and thought maybe I can go for three. I did not run but walked a strong steady pace for me. I am working on doing a 5 k in August. I just may be ready! Exciting to think I could do this. I think I will work on increasing my speed and try jogging and walking maybe use the programs on the treadmill for inclines and stuff before just walking longer. 12 day 10,000 step streak working right now. By the way I'm still loosing slow for wls in my opinion but down to 173 today. This makes 67 lbs. total weight loss for me. I hear of people loosing so much more by this time, but I know its all relative to what you weigh going in, and if you are male or female. So I am thanking God for my journey and not bemoaning it. My inches however have not slowed and am able to wear additional clothing that was too tight just last week. So whew hoo!
Hope you are meeting goals and making progress, it is exciting when it works. I struggled so long with not fruits for my effort and felt horrible and as though I was failing. It is so good to make progress and be moving in in the reverse direction loosing weight instead of gaining!
