It's been about 2 months as a gluten free vegan. It's been a roller coaster. One month after I started, I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years. Then I needed to find my very first place to live on my own and buy a car. All very stressful! So my diet was very strict at first and then very lacks at other times. But now I have the perfect fit, I eat mostly gluten free vegan at home when I cook. Then I eat just vegetarian when I'm out or when I order in. I also started training for a marathon. I'm up to 8 miles a day ish (give or take a few miles). I won't actually been doing the marathon since now that I live on my own (first time in my 26 yrs) I really don't have to money. I've been riding my bike or walking to work to save gas. I've been lonely so anytime I start to get a ping of binging or overeating, I go for a run with my dog.
I have lost 1 lbs, but 4.5" total! Since I joined Spark (2011), I've lost 10 lbs, over 10" total. I have gained numerous friends who I love and am so glad for their support. I didn't think this site would keep my attention for 2 years but it's done way more than that!
