Looking forward to a calmer day today

Friday, June 14, 2013

Today I was supposed to take DH to work so that I could go clean and do errands, but then since we have a special assembly at the school mid morning, at the last moment I changed the plans!

I decided DH could keep the car and I would just stay home and walk over to the school and take it easy today!

After two late nights and late dinners, the scale is protesting! YIKES!
I managed to get groceries last night so don't' have to go today.

I had a meeting with some local media last night and then off to music practice, then cleaned for an hour or so ( this involves vacuuming) My knees started hurting after an hour so decided to go do groceries and put gas in the Van and perhaps ATTEMPT to get an earlier night!

Well, I got to bed at about 11pm and then at 4:30 am DS woke up with a sore tummy!

So given that I am really tired, I thought that I would let DH keep the car and just take a day off and potter around the house with laundry and stuff and just postpone what I had to do today to tomorrow morning!

My kids are doing musical numbers at the school assembly so I am looking forward to that!

I have to try figure out what my body is reacting to....I had another thought though, it could be PMS? Maybe?

Here is another pic of the snapping turtle from the previous blog! He better not eat my ducklings when they hatch!

I agree with LIS193, it sounds like a combination of factors. Whatever is causing it though, I hope you find relief soon!

That snapper is a big guy! Wow!
I hope he stays away from the ducklings too emoticon

PMS. late dinners, lack of sleep, stress... any of those will add the pounds.
Have a wonderful quiet day pottering in the house, have some great on plan food and you'll be fine.
Hope your DS feels better soon!
